Upcoming Apple Products Guide: What's Coming in 2026

Apple enthusiasts have an exciting year ahead as the company prepares to release a diverse range of new products and software updates in 2026. From the long-anticipated iPhone Fold to smarter Siri capabilities and a dedicated home hub, this guide compiles the latest rumors and confirmed announcements to provide a comprehensive overview of what to expect. The dates are based on current supply chain reports and analyst predictions, though Apple’s official schedule may shift.

WWDC 2026: Software and Siri Revolution

Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference kicks off on June 8, 2026, with a keynote focused on operating system updates and a major overhaul of Siri. New versions of iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS will be previewed. The standout feature is a smarter Siri powered by advanced AI, offering chatbot-like capabilities similar to ChatGPT. Siri will gain its own app and deeper integration with the iPhone’s Dynamic Island. Apple Intelligence introduces AI editing in Photos, a Siri mode in Camera for visual intelligence, and a wallpaper generation tool.

September 2026: iPhones, iPad mini, and Home Hub

iPhone 18 Pro

The flagship iPhone 18 Pro will feature a smaller Dynamic Island and a variable aperture main lens, mimicking DSLR functionality. It will run on the A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm process and include Apple’s custom C2 modem. A new dark cherry color option is rumored. The iPhone 18 Pro Max will share similar upgrades.

iPhone Fold

Apple’s first foldable iPhone is expected to launch in fall 2026. It features a 5.3-inch external display that unfolds into a 7.6-inch inner screen, resembling an iPad mini when open. At just 4.5mm thick, it uses advanced display technology and a durable hinge to nearly eliminate the crease. The device will use an A20 chip, dual rear cameras, and a Touch ID sensor in the power button instead of Face ID. Pricing could reach $2,500.

Apple Watch Series 12

The Series 12 update is expected to be minor, likely just a chip refresh with no major design or feature changes.

iPad mini 8

The next iPad mini will adopt an OLED display, a significant upgrade. It may also feature a vibration-based speaker system to eliminate speaker holes and use the same A20 chip as the iPhone 18 Pro.

HomePod mini 2

The second-generation HomePod mini will feature an updated S-series chip from the Apple Watch Series 10 and new color options. Its release depends on the new Siri rollout. It may include Apple’s N1 networking chip, though leaked code suggests otherwise.

Home Hub

A new smart home device, the Home Hub, will feature a 7-inch display that supports video calls, music, smart home controls, and Siri. Two models are expected: a wall-mountable unit and one with a speaker base resembling a HomePod mini.

Apple TV 4K

The Apple TV will receive an A17 Pro processor for console-quality gaming and Apple Intelligence, plus an Apple-designed Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chip. No design changes are expected.

Late 2026: OLED MacBook Pro and Smart Home Camera

A revamped OLED MacBook Pro with a 2nm M6 chip may launch in late 2026 or early 2027. It will feature a hole-punch camera eliminating the notch and a reinforced hinge for stable touch input. Apple is also developing an indoor smart home camera that integrates with HomeKit and the Home Hub, possibly arriving by the end of 2026.

Products Without Confirmed Release Dates

Several products are in development but lack specific timing. The Mac Studio will get M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, though memory constraints may delay launch. A new Mac mini with M5 or M5 Pro chips is expected, but no design changes. The low-cost iPad 12 is rumored to feature the A19 chip. AirPods 5 and next-gen AirPods Pro (potentially AirPods Pro 3) are in development with H3 chips, improved sound, and for the Pro model, infrared cameras for gesture control. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 remains unconfirmed. An M5 Max iMac could revive the iMac Pro line. Apple is also working on AI smart glasses to rival Meta’s Ray-Bans, possibly released in 2027.

2027 Launches and Anniversary iPhone

Apple is shifting to a dual-launch strategy for iPhones: premium models in fall, more affordable ones in spring. The iPhone 18 (non-Pro) and iPhone 18e are slated for spring 2027. The iPhone Air 2 may also launch then with an improved dual-camera setup. A special 20th anniversary iPhone in September 2027 will feature a curved enclosure, sub-display selfie camera, and no bezels. Other 2027 products include a refreshed iPad Pro with M6 chip and vapor chamber cooling, an OLED iMac, lighter AirPods Max with H2 chip, and a tabletop robot (J595) that acts as an advanced Home Hub.

2026 Product Launches So Far

Apple has already released several products in 2026: AirTag 2 in January, iPhone 17e in March, MacBook Neo, M5 Pro/Max MacBook Pro, M5 MacBook Air, M4 iPad Air, Studio Display and Studio Display XDR, and AirPods Max 2. These launches set the stage for the more transformative devices expected later in the year.

With such a dense schedule, 2026 stands out as one of Apple's most ambitious years, spanning new product categories like foldables and smart home hubs, while pushing the envelope on silicon and AI. The company’s focus on tight hardware-software integration ensures that each release will meaningfully enhance the user experience.
